REBEL UTV Glass Limited Manufacturer Warranty

Black River by Summit Products warrants eligible REBEL UTV glass and window products against manufacturing defects for one year from the original retail purchase date.
This warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and the original UTV for which the product was purchased. Product registration is not required.
1-Year Glass Warranty
For one year from the original retail purchase date, Black River warrants eligible REBEL glass and window products against defects in materials and workmanship.
Covered conditions include:
- Manufacturing defects in the glass
- Stress cracks caused by a manufacturing defect
- Factory seal failure
- Bonded-window leaks caused by a manufacturing defect
- Other manufacturing-related defects affecting the glass or factory-bonded window assembly
A crack, leak, or other glass concern does not automatically establish a manufacturing defect. Black River may request photographs, video, installation information, or inspection of the product and vehicle before determining warranty coverage.
What Is Not Covered
The REBEL UTV Glass Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Rock chips
- Trail debris or other impact damage
- Scratches, chips, or abrasions
- Collision or rollover damage
- Cargo or equipment striking the glass
- Forced entry, vandalism, or attempted theft
- Misuse or abuse
- Improper installation
- Damage occurring during removal or reinstallation
- Drilling, cutting, tinting, or aftermarket modification
- Aftermarket accessories that interfere with the glass or window assembly
- Damage caused by an altered, damaged, or misaligned UTV cab, frame, or mounting surface
- Improper cleaning products or cleaning methods
- Normal wear and deterioration that is not the result of a manufacturing defect
Damage caused by an installation issue is not covered. However, customer installation by itself does not make the product ineligible for warranty coverage.
Who Is Covered
This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser of the eligible REBEL glass or window product.
Coverage:
- Applies only to the original UTV for which the product was purchased
- Is not transferable to another owner
- Is not transferable to another vehicle
- Applies to customer-installed and professionally installed products
- Applies to qualifying personal, commercial, and fleet use
Moving the product to another UTV ends warranty coverage unless Black River approves an exception in writing.
Warranty Start Date
The one-year warranty period begins on the original retail purchase date.
Product registration is not required for REBEL warranty coverage.
Black River will verify warranty eligibility using available purchase information, which may include:
- Original retail receipt
- Dealer invoice
- Purchase agreement
- Black River order records
- Authorized Black River dealer sales records
If proof of purchase is unavailable, Black River may attempt to verify the purchase through its records or the selling dealer.
If the original purchaser, product, vehicle, and purchase date cannot be verified, warranty coverage may not be available.
Water Leaks and Seal Concerns
Factory seal failure and bonded-window leaks caused by a manufacturing defect are covered during the one-year warranty period.
Water intrusion may also result from conditions unrelated to the glass or factory-bonded window assembly.
Black River may review:
- Glass and window seals
- Product mounting and installation
- UTV cab alignment
- Mounting surfaces
- Aftermarket accessories or modifications
- Damage to surrounding vehicle components
General water intrusion that cannot be traced to a covered manufacturing defect is not covered under this warranty.
Shipping Damage
Shipping damage is separate from manufacturer warranty coverage.
Customers should inspect the product and packaging before accepting delivery whenever possible. Visible shipping damage should be documented and noted with the carrier at the time of delivery.
Concealed shipping damage discovered after unpacking must be reported to Black River within 48 hours of the carrier's recorded delivery time.
A shipping damage report should include, when available:
- Customer name
- Order number
- Delivery date and time
- Freight or parcel carrier
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the shipping label
- Photos of the complete product
- Close-up photos of the damage
- Delivery documentation
Reports received after the 48-hour period may still be reviewed individually. However, Black River cannot guarantee that late-reported damage will be accepted by the carrier or resolved as a shipping claim.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
To begin a REBEL glass warranty review:
- Submit the Black River online warranty claim form.
- Provide your original purchase information.
- Provide the year, make, and model of the original UTV.
- Describe the issue and when it was first noticed.
- Upload clear photographs of the complete product and affected area.
- Provide additional photos, video, or installation information if requested.
- Wait for Black River's instructions before repairing, modifying, returning, or discarding the product.
Submitting a claim does not automatically confirm warranty coverage.
Black River reserves the right to request additional documentation or inspect the product before approving a warranty claim or remedy.
Warranty Remedies
If Black River confirms a covered manufacturing defect, Black River will determine the appropriate remedy based on the condition of the product, availability of replacement components, and circumstances of the claim.
An approved remedy may include:
- Technical assistance
- Repair
- Replacement component
- Product replacement
- Another remedy approved by Black River
Shipping, return shipping, labor, removal, reinstallation, and other claim-related expenses must be approved by Black River before they are incurred.
Do not incur warranty-related expenses without written authorization from Black River.
Limitations and Legal Rights
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Black River's responsibility under this limited warranty is limited to the remedies described in this warranty.
Black River is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, lost time, lost income, vehicle rental, towing, travel expenses, product downtime, or other related expenses.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
Any implied warranties that apply under state law remain subject to applicable law.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
No dealer, distributor, installer, employee, or other person is authorized to alter, expand, or modify this limited warranty unless the change is approved in writing by an authorized representative of Black River by Summit Products.
